The piercings in titanium have some advantages, which are: it is lighter, more resistant, comfortable and almost without risk of allergic reactions to the human body because it does not contains nickel, that is, friends of the body. After the healing period, the chances of allergies or infections are much lower.
Surgical steel piercings contain nickel (alloy that gives stainless steel resistance to rust and corrosion) a substance that, in some cases, can cause allergic reactions. Another disadvantage is the greater tendency to accumulate or disperse heat than titanium and gold. That is, in summer/heat it gets hotter and in winter/cold it gets colder, which can cause some kind of discomfort.
Earlobe, lip, eyebrow and the piercing smiley. These parts of the body hurt less, due to the amount of skin in these regions. Soon, it will be more comfortable for you to drill.
Daith, Microdermal, Nipple, Transverse are among the most painful piercings. These parts of the body hurt more, due to the sensitivity of the skin and thickness of the cartilage in these regions. Soon, it will be a little more uncomfortable for you to pierce your piercings.

Remembering that this period of piercing healing can be longer or shorter, depending on the body and care of each person and how the body will react. The type of jewelry and material also greatly influence the healing process!
Preferably to titanium piercings because they are lighter, more resistant, comfortable and almost risk-free to the human body as they do not contain nickel, that is, they are friendly to the body. In addition, they reduce the risk of allergic reactions. After the healing period, the chances of allergies or infections are much lower.
If the previous piercing is not completely healed, it is not recommended to do a new piercing in the same place.
In this case, it is always good to have a professional evaluation.
Smoke Dragon Tattoo and Piercing Rio de Janeiro When getting a piercing, there are several potential risks to consider. While many people go through the process without complications, it's important to be aware of possible problems that may arise. Here are ten common risks associated with getting piercings:Infection: Infection is a common risk after piercing. The pierced area may become red, swollen, and painful, and there may be pus present.Slow healing: Some people may experience slow healing after getting a piercing. This can occur due to individual factors or improper aftercare.Allergic reactions: Some people are allergic to certain metals present in piercing jewelry, such as nickel. This can lead to irritation, itching, rash, or other allergic symptoms.Keloids: Some people are more prone to developing keloids, which are thick, raised scars. Keloids can form at the site of the piercing and may require additional treatment.Excessive bleeding: Bleeding may occur during the piercing procedure. In some cases, the bleeding may be more intense and may require medical attention.Incorrect piercing: In some cases, the piercing may be placed incorrectly. This can result in aesthetic problems or discomfort, and it may be necessary to remove and redo the piercing.Damage to teeth and gums: Oral piercings, such as those in the tongue or lips, can come into contact with the teeth and gums, causing damage such as chipped teeth, fractures, or gum recession.Speech or chewing problems: Tongue piercings can interfere with speech and the ability to chew properly, especially in the first few weeks after piercing.Dental erosion: Wearing metal jewelry in the mouth can cause wear and tear on the teeth over time, due to constant contact with the teeth during speech and chewing.Disease transmission: If hygiene conditions are inadequate or if unsterilized instruments are used, there is a risk of transmission of infectious diseases such as hepatitis B, hepatitis C, or bacterial infections. It's important to remember that these risks can be minimized by carefully following the instructions of a professional specializing in piercing and maintaining good hygiene during the healing process. If you are considering getting a piercing, it is advisable to consult an experienced professional and obtain all the necessary information before proceeding.Smoke Dragon tattoo and piercingConceição Street 25b Saara/downtown/Rio de JaneiroMonday to Friday from 10 am to 6 pmwww.smokedragon.orgWhatsapp (21)96948-0570
